Shr San Tai Bau Video ( 3.2 Meg )

Shr san tai bau means 13 defences ( I think ) although I have heard it also translated as 13 wonders.
It is the second form that I leant in Yong Chwun.
When I was in Singapore it was the 3rd form that the Yong Chwun teachers were teaching, the second form being an variation of San Jan with more hand positions.

Notes on the video

This is a video from 06/07/2004 which I have made as a record of my current understanding of the form.

As with all these things - not perfect, but of all the clips of this site it probably captures what I think is Pan Cheng Miouw's balance in the movement.

I shudder with embarassment when I watch this now!! But I will leave it on to remind myself how even when you think it is nearly right how wrong you probably are. Of course my latest Shr San Tai Bau is just about perfect ha ha..... 17-09-2006

If you have a Shr San Tai Bau in you I would love to see it to compare the forms.

If you would like more info on this form let me know and I will put something together with a better video clip.
